I am starting this blog to hopefully assist and educate anyone who may want to buy property in beautiful Mazatlan, Mexico. I plan on having posts about laws, media articles, pictures and descriptions of properties or anything else pertaining to real estate. It is alot easier to buy a piece of paradise than you may think! My husband and I made the decision to move and work in Mazatlan about 3 years ago, and we have not regretted it for one moment!Mazatlan is a large city with a population of about 600,000 people and comes with all the conveniences you would expect from an urban area this size. Add a very active arts community, international airport, excellent food and over 14 miles of expansive golden beaches and what more could a person want?? Mazatlan is a very hot market in real estate and is growing quickly. There are over 15 condominium projects in construction and 18 more that are approved but have not broken ground. A convention center and mall are under construction. Whether you are looking for a 1 bedroom vacation getaway or large tracts of land for development, the time to buy is now!!
